Hello, I'm Katya. I'm 12, and I make beaded earrings at home.
I started because I liked the idea of wearing something nobody else had. Every pair I make is one of a kind. I do not repeat a design, so the small differences in each pair are just part of how they are made by hand. There are eight collections so far, from short everyday studs to long statement fringes, and I add new pieces whenever I have an idea I want to try.
My younger brother Kabir has a guest section here too, which is mostly letter beads and smiley faces and is quite unlike the rest of the shop.
Everything I earn goes to dog rescue charities around the world. That was the point from the beginning, not something I added later. My mum looks after the boring parts, the payments and the post, so I can get on with making things.
